AcroWiki

You are in the hyper-text Wiki browser now.

After you first open it, AcroWiki will ask you if you want to generate the index page that contains links to all existing memos. This index page is named WikiIndex.

After that, each time you launch AcroWiki, the index page will be displayed.

You can scroll the text up and down, click on links, edit pages, create new pages, rename and delete pages, change styles, settings and etc. using either the toolbar or menu.

For example, you can modify the list of your memos like this:

The toolbar at the bottom of the page provides you with certain functionality:

  • Access to navigation functions, such as Back, Forward, Home.

  • Tapping on the Edit toolbar button will launch the text editor to edit the current memo.

  • To go to a certain WikiWord, you can simply type its name in toolbar Entry field at the bottom of the screen and tap the Go button.

  • Clicking the garbage can icon on the toolbar will Delete the current memo.

The menu at the top of the screen provides access to:

  • File menu:
    • New... - creates a new AcroWiki document
    • Open... - opens the list of AcroWiki documents (existing memos)
    • Rename... - renames the current AcroWiki document
    • Delete - deletes the current AcroWiki document
    • Search - not yet implemented

  • Go menu:
    • Back, Forward, Home - navigation functions

    • Generate Index - generates a new WikiIndex file

  • Help menu:
    • Index - AcroWiki help
    • Support - support information
    • About AcroWiki - copyright information.

When you switch to edit mode:

You can modify your memos or index page to change their appearance and make them more useful. To do this, you can use the Syntax Help.

When you are done with editing, just press the Done button to return to the browser mode.

If you tap on the Details button, you can select the category for the memo and optionally mark it as private.

The categories displayed in the Memo List screen will be assigned to new Memos automatically. There are two ways of changing the category of a memo:
  • Select a new category in the Memo Details dialog.
  • While in the edit mode, select a new category from the list.

The menu at the top of the edit mode screen provides access to:

  • File menu:
    • Rename... - renames the current memo.

  • Edit menu:
    • Undo - undoes the last action
    • Cut - cuts the selected text
    • Copy - copies the selected text
